Here is my simple 1-2-3 Breathing Relaxation Exercise that you can do anywhere for a few minuets to bring that clam and control back into you own hands.
Find some where quiet, you can be sitting on a chair or laying down on some grass or on your bed. Make your self comfortable. Feel the chair you are sitting on or the place you are laying down.
Now close your eyes and take a deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth. I want you to focus and control your breathing feeling the air coming in through your nose and air exhaling out through you mouth. Continue as long as you need to, concentrating on the breathing.
Now the final step. Let your body take control, allow your body naturally to tell you, feeling when you need to breath in and when you need to exhale, it can be shallow or as deep as your body tells you. Still focusing on the breathing while you feel your body is getting more relaxed. Again carry on as long as you need. When you feel you are ready to come out of the mediation, slowly open your eyes.
